When parents contact me, they often wearily confess, “We have never had to worry about our money before, but I think we need a Budget.” Couple the addition of child care expenses or the lost income of one spouse staying home with the added pressure of education funding and desires for a larger home and you have a recipe for anxiety around daily spending decisions.
