Busy, Busy, Busy? Get Back in Your Body...

When I'm stressed out, I often want a quick and easy way to regain my composure. I've found that the easiest way to do that is to get back in touch with my body.

Today, I want to share with you a posting from my friend, Kate Henley, aka Ms. Mind-Body. It's what she calls a Cure for the I'm Too Busy to Relax Blues.

I no longer need to have my "back up against the wall," but now I've discovered that stretching my back opens up my breathing and my ideas.

Mind, Body, Spirit 101

This Fall I've had the great fortune to tour both high schools and colleges with my  8th grader  and high school junior.  I've visited many Bay area independent high schools and several colleges.  All these schools tout the same formula for success: nurture the Mind, Body and Spirit.  These institutions all focus on strong academics for the Mind.  The Body component varies by school; from big sport schools with traditional athletics, to urban, artsy schools recognizing the importance of Body with programs from fencing to yoga.  In the Bay Area, the Spirit com
