VP, Marketing
The VP or Director of Marketing drives and manages all marketing
efforts at BrightRoll, with focus on the positioning of the company,
products and offerings to brand advertisers / agencies,
differentiating BrightRoll from other media sellers in the online
media ecosystem and being a thought leader among the broader
interactive ecosystem including premium publishers, third party
measurement firms and the press. The ideal candidate has strong
project management and organizational skills, significant experience
working with a media sales organization and the sensibility and
experience to articulate our strategic brand direction and positioning.
Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of corporate positioning, communications, press and
industry analyst relations, website and online marketing, branding,
conference participation
Manage external service providers including PR firms, third party
measurement firms and marketing creative firms
Provide the sales team with the necessary marketing support and
collateral materials
Manage the release of quarterly industry reports and agencies
newsletters
Prioritize multiple tasks effectively and perform a variety of
deadline-driven projects
Provide connectivity between business units / product to ensure
consistency and effectiveness
Participate in high profile speaking engagements
Qualifications:
3-5 years leading marketing efforts for an online media company or
ad network
Ability and desire to lead both higher level strategic initiatives
including branding and messaging as well as numerous tactical projects
Deep experience in online media space (online advertising network
understanding preferred)
Bright, creative, strategic, hands-on, collaborative, driven and
proactive
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a highly organized
manner
Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and analytical
skills
Goal oriented, self-directed and self-motivated within a team
environment
MBA with a focus on marketing preferred
