NAWL PRESENTS "ARE YOU READY TO ON-RAMP?" IN CHICAGO

05/06/2008 - 8:30am
05/06/2008 - 3:00pm

The National Association of Women Lawyers will present its "Ready to
On-ramp?" program in Chicago on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 8:30AM to 2PM,
with an optional workshop from 2:00-3:00.  The event will be held in the
downtown offices of Jenner & Block LLP at 330 N. Wabash Avenue.
This full-day event, which received rave reviews when presented in DC last
year, is NAWL's program specifically designed to assist attorneys who have
taken time off in developing their own personal strategy for re-entering
the workplace.  The cost of attending is $30, which includes breakfast and
lunch.

This year's program will feature informative presentations by
experts--both from across the country and Chicago-based--who have
counseled individuals and organizations about professional women returning
to the workforce.  The event will also feature panel discussions about
"lessons learned" from individuals who have returned to work, provide
the employer's perspective on the re-entry process, and give an overview
of the needs of the marketplace.  Specific questions about individual
circumstances will be addressed over lunch in small groups as well as in
an optional workshop following the program.

The National Association of Women Lawyers is the leading national
voluntary organization devoted to the interests of women lawyers and
women's rights. Founded over 100 years ago, NAWL has members in all 50
states and engages in a variety of programs and activities to advance its
mission.  Please visit www.nawl.org <http://www.nawl.org>  for more information.
