Elana Weinstein, Vice President, Global Leadership and Diversity, Goldman Sachs & Co.
Elana is a vice president in Global Leadership and Diversity. In addition to her Chief of Staff role, she is responsible for the strategy and implementation of firmwide diversity initiatives, including training and curriculum, and direct oversight of women’s initiatives and women’s leadership development.
Before joining Goldman Sachs in 2001, Elana worked in the non-profit sector for the Anti-Defamation League and Girl Scouts of the USA. She is on the board of the Bloomingdale School of Music in New York City. Elana earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She and her husband, Scott, have two children and live in Manhattan.
Sheryl Cintron, Senior Manager of Business Development, Deloitte
Sheryl joined Deloitte in 2007, after eight years as a stay-at-home Mom. She leads the business development effort for Deloitte Tax in New York and Long Island. Her career began in 1990, as Marketing Coordinator for Arthur Andersen. Prior to “opting-out”, she spent six years as the Marketing Director for the New Jersey practice of Ernst & Young. Sheryl is a graduate of both the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications and the School of Management at Syracuse University. She is a recipient of the SI Newhouse Scholarship for Academic Excellence. She has been married for seventeen years and is the mother of two children, ages 12 and 10. She is an avid tennis player, who enjoys travel and literature.
Bette Rice, Director, GMI Client Services, Merrill Lynch
After graduating from the inaugural class of Dartmouth College's Tuck Back in Business program, Bette returned to Merrill Lynch as director, Global Markets and Investment Banking Client Services in January 2007. This was following a five year hiatus from the corporate sector during which time she served in the non-profit sector as Director of Corporate Partnerships at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
A Merrill Lynch veteran, Bette originally joined the firm in the technology infrastructure group and held a number of management positions in Technology, Global Private Client and Global Markets & Investment Banking. Bette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Clark University and resides in New York City with her two teenage children. During the past six months, she completed the New York City and Houston marathons to qualify for the Boston marathon in April.
Hilary Stark, Vice President and Project Manager of Encore, Lehman Brothers
Hilary Stark joined Lehman Brothers in May of 2007 in the New York Diversity and Inclusion team as Vice President and Project Manager. She is focusing on the Firm's Gender Strategy, responsible for the day to day management of Lehman Brothers Encore® program, a global initiative designed to facilitate networking and professional development opportunities for individuals, both women and men, who have left the workforce and are interested in resuming their careers in financial services. Hilary joins Lehman Brothers as an Encore® hire herself, having been out of the workforce for 12 years. Her background includes working with UBS Securities, Barclays de Zoete Wedd and Bankers Trust in Investment Banking. Hilary started her career at Lehman Brothers as a Senior Analyst in the Mortgage Finance Department. She holds a BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
