I am a law student in my last year of school. My husband and I tried to get pregnant so I would give birth during my third year of law school, but nature had other things in mind and we have not successfully conceived. So, we've decided to postpone our efforts until next August, after the bar exam. That means I would (hopefully) be pregnant during my first year as an associate at a law firm. I've decided that it's my life and I'm tired of living by other people's rules. My husband want to start our family on our own time table, not someone else's. But I am still a litte worried about the firm's reaction. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Can anyone offer any advice, or at least a heads up on what I can expect?
Thanks.
