Do I need to tell my interviewer I'm pregnant?

I am currently unemployed, not married or living with the father of the child and 4 months pregnant. I was employed for over 10 years at the same company but was laid off last year. My dilemna is I am now interviewing for a position for my dream job at a large corporation. I have not told the potential employer I am pregnant as I truly believe I will not be offered the job then. If I am hired my plan was to tell the employer after working there that I truly did not want anything to ruin my chances of being hired. Besides that being the truth I need this job as I have been looking for six months. I do not want to ruin the future relationship with my manager-to-be as I plan to take only six weeks off and I also plan to be working there for years to come. What advice do you have as to how and when to break the news?

Pregnant and interviewing, When to tell.
I believe your strategy is a good one, but you need to come
across as assertive and a go-getter, as opposed to
apologetic and vulnerable.  You are totally within your rights to apply for the position, even if you are pregnant.  If you plan to return to work after your baby is born, I think it’s ok to accept the offer then tell your manager as soon as you can.  Let your manager know that you’re excited about the opportunity to pursue your dream job and you plan to work for the company for years to come and will do what it takes to minimize the impact while you’re on maternity leave.  Put together a plan outlining how
you can keep connected while on leave and incorporate some
additional things you can do prior to taking your leave.
This pro-active approach will show your desire to contribute as much as possible before leaving and to set the stage for a smooth
temporary transition. As to when to break the news, I would get in and prove yourself and show what a hard worker you are.  By doing this they will be okay with the maternity leave as they will have gained a great, long term employee.  Good luck!

Yeah let your interviewer

Yeah let your interviewer know that you are pregnant because you can't get anything with fake interview, therefore be clear and let everything know. In my opinion there is no need to to do job with pregnant belly just wait for some time.

For me you have to tell the

For me you have to tell the interviewer your situation anything that has in relevance to your work must be disclosed to the interviewer it’s the prerogative of the interviewer if he /she will still accepts you in the position that you are applying for. In addition to this I will give you some of the basic tips you have to do during interview. There are some things you want to avoid, if you actually WANT a job.  For instance, the most common interview mistakes  that interviewers point out is a candidate being inappropriately dressed.  So leave your Grateful Dead t shirt at home, and put on a suit for crying out loud.  Other common blunders of interviews are usually pretty basic – come prepared, and knowing your resume, a little knowledge of the company.  Don't trash former employers, and don't tell them you plan to take a lot of time off to nurse your ailing gerbil – otherwise you're going to need fast cash from the unemployment office.

Hat’s off

Hat’s off. Well done, as we know that “hard work always pays off”, after a long struggle with sincere effort it’s done.
