As a self-employed contractor, I am at a loss when it comes to filing taxes. Besides direct expenses (supplies, etc) and revenue, what do I even need to keep track of for tax purposes? Any tips out there? An easy to read book? I don't have the time to explore this in-depth right now, but I don't want to be kicking myself when tax filing comes around again next year!
