Think blogging is a fad, think again. This summer I went to BlogHer08. I knew I was in for an event when I had to I had to find my ticket on Craigs List
Here are a few highlights from my day at BlogHer08:
Buy your ticket early…this event sold out weeks before, but CraigsList to the rescue. If it works for concert tickets then why not BlogHer!
Blogging is big business. While there is much debate over bloggers “selling out” their blogs to corporations that want to promote their products, businesses want to be part of the blogsphere. See the NYT's latest article, Woman to Woman, Online. This was a great event for freebies. I came home with a very cool new Zivio Boom head set, and HP, iRobot and others were twittering their giveaways…
Which leads me to Twitter. OK, I have had a Twitter account for a while, but I confess to not tweeting my ever move. Looks like there’s a party going on and we’re missing all the fun. Also met the cool founders of Kirtsy, a cool site where women find and share things...think Digg for women. Check it out.
