Women Triumph in March Turmoil as reported on NewsonWomen.com

Erin Callan, Chief Financial Officer of Lehman Brothers, was the number one woman searched for on Newsonwomen.com in March,08 - understandable given the turmoil in the financial markets this past month.

The more things change....
Media companies take the forefront this week with high visibility appointments reported on www.newsonwomen.com in the newspaper and magazine businesses. On the publishing side, Jessica Sibley was made Worldwide Publisher of Business Week and Katherine Weymouth was made Publisher of the Washington Post, and on the marketing side, Danielle Yuen was made Marketing Director of The Week. It is great to see an industry which is faced with such a challenging business environment turning to so many women.

I spend my time blogging about women’s achievements on www.NewsonWomen.com because I love to see women getting ahead. I think there are lessons we can learn from each other by sharing these experiences.
